We live in a super-small world. I was on Sylph for most of my FFXI time, but when the servers were merged, I actually transferred off of Titan/Phoenix (where we were sent) onto Siren because of a ToV post (somewhere on FFXIAH?) Anyways, I played there for a short time on a character named Wolfdietrich and then quit due to school/work. ToV was such a great experience for me and I was sad that I'd probably never get to be a part of something like it again.
Fast forward to pre-ARR, skipping past some grueling months of no leveling, just straight town RP in 1.0. (I was not a fan of the RPC back in 1.0, by the way–too much drama.) Many of my friends from high school and FFXI were moving to the game and we managed to convince the newbies to come on to Balmung, which as you know is the "unofficial RP server." Anyways, one of my good friends (of some 12 years at this point) gets me into a temporary linkshell for P4. I find out that the RP shell is Tales of Hydaelyn and my mind starts to explode. Surely, this is not the same group, but can it just be coincidence?
NOPE! Turns out it's you guys. I'm super stoked. Ahhh!!
Weeee! Welcome back pal, and… /highfiveofmagic. I'm a thaumaturge RPer too, much excited to have a fellow (Or are you an arcanist? If so, prepare to become my nemesis, I hold a grudge against Carbuncle!)!
Edit: Also, since I know you were looking for it, I added an album for your character screenshots in the site's Album section (see above). For now we're keeping a 10 pictures limit per character, but if you have any generic screenshots (landscape, boss battles etc), post them up in the general "XIV" album. That one has no entry limits^^
To be an interesting, intriguing, well-written character, there needs to be something to allow the audience to relate to them. That is what the problem is with who wants their character to be "perfect". Perfect characters will never be strong, and strong characters will never be perfect, because WE (those who read, who watch, who RP) are not perfect.

Also don't forget to fill in your template here (see the sticky to get the template) so you are displayed in the official Members list (see above)!
